High Myopia Clinic

Dr Helen Do runs a clinic at MQ Health Ophthalmology to provide comprehensive assessment and management of patients with complications from high myopia.

 

 

WHO TO REFER

  • Worse than -6D of myopia with:

    • Reduced corrected visual acuity

    • Cataract formation

    • Fundus examination showing any retinal changes

    • Macular changes on OCT

    • Anypatients who wishes to have a comprehensive assessment of their high myopia status.

 

  • Patients over 16 years of age

(Patients under 16 years of age can be referred to the Paediatric Myopia at MQ Health Ophthalmology)

 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Comprehensive assessment focusing on patients’ retinal status as well as cornea, lens and glaucoma assessment 

  • Ongoing follow up will be co-managed with the referring Optometrist
